To clarify the current status of and issues relating to transport in Northeast Asia and consider measures to solve problems, as well as reinforcing the cooperative framework between the countries involved in order to develop transportation corridors. |

9 transportation corridors that could play a central role in international transport in Northeast Asia were specified, and their current status and future issues relating to them were clarified. In addition, a list was made of projects that should be carried out to develop them, and a vision for their future compiled. |

It became clear that disparities between regions in China existed not only between provinces, cities and administrative districts, but also between cities within the same province and urban and rural districts within the same city. The situation in the cities of the northeastern region was summarized in terms of such aspects as major economic indicators, industry and external relations. |

This research analyses issues relating to the structural aspects of the ROK's economy, which is anticipated to play a vital role as one of the engines of the Northeast Asian economy. |
